Role Overview
As a Point of Use Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting procedural case cart picking and inventory management in the OR. You¿ll work closely with clinicians, including RN Circulators, Scrub Techs, and Physicians, to ensure all necessary supplies are available for procedures. Your focus will be on accurate documentation, inventory optimization, and enhancing operational efficiency to support exceptional patient care.

What You Will Do
Conduct case cart picking for procedural supplies in the Operating Room inventory locations.
Support clinicians during procedures by ensuring all preference card listed products are available.
Perform audits and reconciliation post-procedure to ensure accurate documentation and inventory management.
Assist with inventory optimization to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Ensure accurate documentation in the Epic Medical Record during procedures.
Enhance picking and documentation processes to improve overall OR efficiency.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years of prior work experience.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to effectively execute plans, achieve results, and improve operations.
Strong workflow management and time management skills.
Proficiency in computer skills, including PeopleSoft, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and web-based software programs.
Preferred Qualifications
College Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Three to five (3-5) years of experience in an Operating Room or Procedural environment, either clinical or Supply Chain oriented.
