About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
At SwarmLens, we build multi-agent AI systems that convert complex upstream, midstream, and downstream operational data into real-time risk intelligence for the oil and gas sector.
Role Overview & Career Track
We are seeking an ambitious AI Implementation & Client Relations Intern for a high-impact, paid position designed to fast-track into a full-time role. This internship follows a structured 2-phase progression:
Months 1–2 (Outreach & Discovery): Focus on energy client outreach, market research across oil and gas operations, and lead engagement. You will master our AI solutions while identifying real-world operational pain points (e.g., non-productive time, safety incidents, maintenance downtime).
Months 3–6 (Client-Facing Transition): Apply insights from Months 1–2 to take on direct client engagement, solution design, and technical AI implementation for energy assets.
Based on performance, this position is structured to convert into a full-time Analyst role within 3 to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach & Discovery: Conduct targeted outreach to energy operational leaders, asset managers, and HSE experts to map high-ROI AI use cases.
Solution Implementation: Configure and deploy SwarmLens multi-agent workflows, RAG tools, and data pipelines for field, facility, and enterprise data.
Client Engagement: Lead technical onboarding, participate in discovery calls, and translate complex engineering feedback into clear product requirements.
Value Tracking: Define and track key client success metrics (e.g., NPT reduction, accelerated document retrieval, incident risk mitigation) to demonstrate platform ROI.
Qualifications
Background: Degree or final-year candidate in Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Energy Management, or a related discipline.
Technical Fundamentals: Hands-on experience with Python and core AI concepts (LLMs, RAG, multi-agent frameworks, APIs).
Communication & Drive: Outgoing, persuasive communicator comfortable engaging energy executives and presenting complex technical ideas clearly.
Mindset: A consultative problem-solver who thrives in startup environments, understands industrial asset workflows, and wants quick ownership.
Remuneration & Benefits
Conversion Opportunity: Eligible for full-time Analyst role conversion within 3–6 months (including competitive base salary, health coverage, and performance bonuses).
Direct Impact & Mentorship: Work directly alongside company founders and lead AI engineers on production deployments for energy clients.
Employment Type: Paid Internship (3–6 Months) with Full-Time Conversion Path
