Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Semi Qualified CA at Rajeev Gupta and Co in Delhi, India. The role involves assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers, and ensuring adherence to applicable accounting and auditing standards. The Semi Qualified CA will support the preparation and review of financial statements, tax computations, returns, and related documentation. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate accounting records, performing reconciliations, supporting compliance filings, and coordinating with senior team members on client assignments. The role also includes research on accounting, tax, and regulatory matters, contributing to client reports, and participating in internal knowledge-sharing and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should have cleared specified groups or levels of Chartered Accountancy (Semi Qualified CA) and possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
Candidates should possess skills in financial statement preparation, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and basic financial analysis.
Candidates should possess skills relevant to audit support, including documentation, sampling, internal control testing, and compliance with auditing procedures.
Candidates should possess foundational skills in direct and indirect taxation, including return preparation, computations, and understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software, along with the ability to manage data accurately and efficiently.
Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in teams under deadlines.
Candidates with prior experience in CA firms, familiarity with Indian GAAP and tax laws, and a commitment to continuous professional development will be preferred.
