Role Description The Assistant Professor (Computer Science Engineering) role is a full-time, on-site position based at CT Group of Institutions in Jalandhar. The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Computer Science Engineering, designing and updating course curriculum, and preparing teaching materials that align with academic standards and industry needs. The Assistant Professor will guide students in laboratory sessions, supervise projects, mentor learners in academic and career development, and support research activities within the department. Responsibilities also include evaluating student performance, maintaining academic records, participating in departmental meetings, contributing to accreditation and quality assurance processes, and engaging in institutional initiatives and academic events.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in core Computer Science concepts and Computer Science Engineering principles.
Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, course materials, and assessments aligned with academic and industry standards.
Candidates should possess expertise in Data Science, including data analysis, machine learning fundamentals, and relevant tools or programming frameworks.
Candidates should possess applied knowledge in Cybersecurity, such as information security principles, network security basics, and secure coding practices.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Programming languages and paradigms, and be able to teach coding practices, algorithms, and software development methodologies.
Postgraduate degree (M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or equivalent) in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline; a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) is preferred.
Strong teaching, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and use modern pedagogical and e-learning tools.
Research orientation with the ability to publish in reputed journals or conferences and participate in funded projects or academic collaborations.
Ability to work collaboratively in academic teams, contribute to departmental development, and support student activities and institutional goals.
