Role Description The Dean (Management) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based at CT Group of Institutions in Jalandhar. The dean oversees academic programs in management, including curriculum development, academic planning, and continuous quality improvement. Daily responsibilities include supervising and mentoring faculty, ensuring effective teaching and learning practices, monitoring student performance, and fostering industry linkages and collaborations. The role involves leading accreditation and compliance activities, guiding research and innovation initiatives, and promoting interdisciplinary projects and community engagement. The dean also contributes to strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for the management department, while representing the institution in academic and professional forums.
Qualifications
Strong academic background in Management or a related field, preferably with a PhD or equivalent terminal degree.
Demonstrated experience in academic leadership, such as Head of Department, Program Director, or similar roles in higher education.
Proven ability in curriculum design, program coordination, and outcome-based education implementation.
Experience in faculty mentoring, performance evaluation, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive academic culture.
Knowledge of accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance processes in higher education.
Evidence of research, publications, or scholarly activities, and the ability to promote a research-oriented environment.
Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple academic priorities.
Experience building industry partnerships, organizing seminars, conferences, and outreach initiatives in the management domain.
Commitment to student success, ethical practices, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
Relevant administrative experience and proficiency with digital tools and academic management systems.
