Application Service Delivery Manager(Insurance Domain)

The Application Service Delivery Manager will drive execution governance, engineering quality, and team productivity across General Insurance platforms. This role requires an experienced leader capable of orchestrating a delivery organization of 50–100 developers across at least 4 parallel delivery teams, enforcing strict architectural compliance, and leading complex monolith-to-microservices migrations without compromising business logic integrity.
Requirements
General Insurance (GI) Expertise: Deep domain knowledge exclusively within the General Insurance sector (e.g., Motor, Property, Casualty, Marine, Commercial lines, Policy Administration, Claims Processing, and Broker/Agent portals).
Overall Experience: 10 to 15 years in software engineering and application delivery management.
Scale of Leadership: Proven track record of managing a delivery organization of 50 to 100 developers, with demonstrated experience managing a minimum of 4 distinct teams/squads concurrently.
Core Technology Stack: Extensive technical background in backend engineering focused on Java / Spring Boot and microservices ecosystems.
Architectural Modernization: Hands-on leadership experience in decoupling legacy monolithic applications into microservices, with demonstrable success in capturing and preserving functional and business logic during code migration.
Governance & Metric Capabilities:
Metric-Driven Management: Demonstrated ability to manage teams using quantitative delivery metrics (velocity, cycle time, story points per developer per day).
Quality Enforcement: Strong track record in establishing CI/CD quality gates, code coverage mandates, SIT sign-off criteria, and clean code governance.
Stakeholder Translation: Ability to translate deep technical metrics, modernization risks, and engineering health into clear, non-technical business language for executive leadership
