Data Center Project Manager – Network Connectivity & Structured Cabling

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Data Center Project Manager – Network Connectivity & Structured Cabling. The role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing end-to-end project activities related to network connectivity, structured cabling, and associated data center infrastructure. The Project Manager will manage project schedules, track milestones, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and ensure that materials, equipment, and services are delivered on time through effective expediting. Daily responsibilities include supervising installation and inspection of cabling and connectivity components, monitoring quality and compliance with technical specifications, and resolving logistical and operational issues. The role also requires regular reporting on project status, risk management, and collaboration with stakeholders to maintain clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex data center initiatives.
Candidates should possess expediting-related skills such as Expeditor experience and Expediting capabilities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Candidates should possess inspection skills, including experience with Inspection of structured cabling and network installations for quality and standards compliance.
Candidates should possess logistics management skills, including Logistics Management expertise to coordinate shipments, inventory, and site readiness.
Relevant experience in data centers, network connectivity, and structured cabling projects, with familiarity in industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC) is beneficial.
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in infrastructure project management is preferred.
Proficiency in project management tools, documentation, and reporting, along with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
