Software Engineering Lead - Java

Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions, leading teams through design and delivery. Set development standards and ensure code quality, scalability, and performance aligned with business objectives. As a Software Engineering Lead focused on Java, you will oversee the technical vision and architectural framework of software projects. This role involves guiding teams through the full lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring development practices meet organizational goals. The role also includes production incident management, environment management, and structured knowledge transfer.
Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert and collaborate with the team to deliver effectively.
Take responsibility for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key technical decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to optimize efficiency and product quality.

Requirements:
Proficiency in Java Standard Edition.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
Experience with software architecture design and implementation.
Ability to analyze and optimize application performance and scalability.
Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Java Standard Edition.
15 years of full-time education.
