Architect (B.Arch)
Mumbai | Full-Time | 5 to 6 Years Experience | 3-5 Positions
GA Design Consultants LLP is an architecture, interiors and lighting design practice with studios in Los Angeles, Mumbai and Pune. The practice was founded by Shekar Ganti following a decade at Richard Meier & Partners, and has delivered more than 150 projects across India, the United States, Africa and Asia.
Our architecture work includes Trump Towers and Panchshil Towers in Pune, Central Park at Noida (22 towers across 50 acres), the 282-key Sheraton Grand Conakry in Guinea, and the TCS training campus at Thiruvananthapuram. Our lighting studio, founded by Kiran Ganti is a separate discipline within the practice, has designed schemes for Taj, The Oberoi, Four Seasons, St. Regis and JW Marriott, and holds two IES Lumen West Awards.
We are appointing 3-5 architects to our Mumbai studio. This is a documentation and delivery role carrying genuine site responsibility. It will suit an architect who is already fluent in Revit and confident on a construction site.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Principal and Design Director, you will:
Prepare design development and construction documentation in Revit
Take responsibility for drawing packages from concept design through GFC issue
Coordinate with MEP, structural, façade and specialist consultants
Attend site, resolve RFIs and maintain design intent through construction
Contribute to material research, specification and BOQ preparation
Produce 3D models and presentation drawings for design reviews
Scope. This is an architecture position. Our lighting design work is a separate in-house discipline. You will coordinate with that team on occasion but will not undertake lighting design.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
B.Arch or M.Arch
5 to 6 years of practice experience on built projects
Fluency in Revit. This is a daily working requirement, non negotiable
Demonstrable site experience
Based in Mumbai, or relocating at your own cost
PREFERRED
COA registration
AutoCAD and SketchUp
Hospitality, large format or high specification residential experience
Familiarity with international documentation standards
REMUNERATION AND DEVELOPMENT
Starting from ₹60,000 per month +
Direct mentorship from a Principal who spent ten years at Richard Meier and Partners
Named projects for your portfolio
Involvement across the full project lifecycle, concept through completion
Client and consultant exposure from the outset
