Role Description This part-time remote IT Network Engineer role at DigiMark Lt. focuses on maintaining and optimizing the organization’s network infrastructure. The IT Network Engineer monitors network performance, configures routers, switches, and firewalls, and ensures stable connectivity across all environments. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving network issues, implementing security best practices, and supporting upgrades and changes to network architecture. The role also involves collaborating with other IT team members, documenting configurations and procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement of network reliability and security.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Administration and Information Technology to manage day-to-day network operations and support systems.
Candidates should possess solid abilities in Network Engineering to design, configure, and optimize network infrastructure.
Candidates should possess expertise in Network Security to implement, monitor, and improve security controls and policies.
Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or similar credentials are beneficial.
Experience with common networking hardware, VPN technologies, and cloud-based environments is an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Previous experience in a network-focused IT role and familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems are preferred.
