Junior Equity Research Analyst – TMT & Learning Programs

About the Role
BroadCareer is looking for a junior team member to support our TMT equity research and research-led learning programs.
You will work closely with our research mentors, including professionals with fund-management experience, on company and industry research, financial analysis, case development, and the delivery of research training.
This is not a conventional teaching-assistant position: research quality, analytical thinking, and intellectual curiosity are central to the role. It is also not a traditional buy-side investment seat—the work is designed to turn professional research methods into structured learning experiences rather than support portfolio management decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Support bottom-up research on companies and industries across the TMT sector.
- Track earnings, operating metrics, industry developments, and relevant market data.
- Assist with financial models, valuation work, company comparisons, and research briefs.
- Work with research mentors to develop investment cases, teaching materials, and workshop content.
- Translate complex research questions into clear frameworks, exercises, and discussion materials.
- Support the preparation and delivery of research workshops, case discussions, and learning sessions.
- Maintain high standards of source accuracy, analytical consistency, and presentation quality.
Who We’re Looking For
- Final-year students and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong interest in TMT, public equities, fundamental research, or investment analysis.
- Basic understanding of financial statements, valuation, and company research.
- Able to organize information and communicate analytical ideas clearly.
- Comfortable working across both independent research and collaborative learning projects.
- Previous buy-side experience is not required; relevant coursework, personal research, internships, or stock-pitch experience is helpful.
