General Manager

Role Description The General Manager role is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring alignment with BBA Groupe Financier’s strategic objectives. The person in this role will manage business processes, coordinate with independent representatives and financial partners, and monitor performance indicators across key functions. Daily activities include supervising teams or outsourced resources, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The General Manager will also contribute to strategic planning, support the Avantages BBA program, manage budgets, and prepare regular reports for senior leadership. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to improve service quality and drive continuous improvement is an essential aspect of this role.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and people management skills, including the ability to motivate, guide, and develop team members in a remote environment.
Experience in operations management, with proven ability to optimize processes, manage projects, and oversee day-to-day business activities.
Background in financial services or insurance, with understanding of individual insurance products and distribution networks considered an asset.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, monitor performance metrics, and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with independent representatives and external partners.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple priorities in a part-time, remote setting.
Proficiency with office productivity tools and basic business technologies; comfort working in digital and virtual collaboration environments.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience in a general management, director, or senior supervisory role is highly desirable.
