Cityfurnish is looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager to own the complete finance function and lead the Finance team. The role covers accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, audits, treasury, budgeting, MIS, internal controls, and financial reporting. The candidate will work closely with the AVP and Founder to strengthen financial processes and support business decisions. Key Responsibilities -Own monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure, accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. -Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable, vendor payments, collections, ageing, and reconciliations. -Manage cash flow, treasury, banking, working capital, and fund planning. -Lead budgeting, forecasting, MIS, variance analysis, and profitability reporting. -Own GST, TDS, Income Tax, MCA, PF/ESIC, and other statutory compliances. -Independently manage statutory, internal, tax, GST, stock, and investor audits from planning to closure. -Handle tax/regulatory notices and coordinate with external consultants and authorities. -Design and strengthen internal financial controls, approval workflows, and risk management. -Lead, mentor, and manage the Finance & Accounts team. -Drive ERP adoption, automation, process improvement, and reduction of manual work. Required Skills -Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting/Ind AS, GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits, treasury, and compliance. -Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and working capital management. -Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency. -Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. -Ability to independently manage the complete finance function in a fast-paced environment. Qualification & Experience -CA / M.Com / MBA – Finance -8–12 years of Finance & Accounts experience. -3–5+ years in a managerial/team leadership role. -Proven experience independently handling accounting, taxation, compliance, audits, treasury, and financial reporting. Key KPIs -Timely and accurate book closure & financial reporting -100% timely statutory compliance -Timely closure of audits and regulatory notices -Improved cash flow and working capital
