Roles and Responsibilities :
Responsible for Interpreting tender documents and preparation of deviations and clarifications / technical data sheets and drawings
Ensure deliverables Like PFDs/P&IDs, auxiliary equipment sizing, BOM preparation and releasing enquiry specifications on time
Perform efficiency calculations, heat & mass transfer calculations, Analyse boiler performance and site issues
Basic Mechanical design of pressure parts, thickness calculations and GA drawings
Thermal & Hydraulic Design for Boilers & Heaters
Able to lead the technical discussions with customer and consultant
Site performance evaluation, conduct performance guarantee test
Contribute towards value engineering & design optimization
Contribute towards automation of calculations, drawings and specification
Critical Competencies for the Job :
Knowledge of Basic Power plant cycles and Heat transfer
Knowledge of Boiler Thermal design softwares
Basic functional knowledge of AFBC / CFBC / TG Boilers / HRSGs and WHRBs
Knowledge of various codes like IBR / ASME / API Codes
Ability to work in cross functional teams, intra and inter department
Ability to interact & influence international and domestic customers
Logical & analytical abilities
Futuristic skills which might require in case of advancement in role / position:
Automation in component levels
Multi product work exposure
