Assembly Technician

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assembly Technician role based in Coimbatore. The Assembly Technician will assemble electro-mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and safety standards. Responsibilities include using hand tools and power tools, performing mechanical assembly, and completing basic soldering tasks as required. The role also involves inspecting assemblies for quality, identifying defects, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. The Assembly Technician will maintain a clean and organized work area, adhere to all safety protocols, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Assembly and a solid understanding of electro-mechanical components.
Candidates should possess skills in using Hand Tools and Power Tools safely and efficiently.
Candidates should possess skills in Soldering for electrical connections and basic circuit assembly.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including visual inspection and measurement to ensure adherence to specifications.
Relevant technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to workplace safety.
Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow guidance from supervisors and collaborate with peers.
