Job Role Summary
The Celonis Process Mining Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and optimization of Celonis process mining solutions within the organization. This individual will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and quantifying the business value derived from process mining initiatives.
Experience in assessing as-is processes, doing gap analysis, creating to-be processes and making recommendations to implement changes. Experience in using Six Sigma, Lean and other methodologies to drive continuous process improvement in technology projects.
Data Integration and Pipeline Development:
Collaborate with source system experts to verify proper configuration for comprehensive data collection and optimal data structuring.
Configure and manage data connectors and integrations within the Celonis platform, troubleshooting any connectivity issues.
Create, build, and support high-performing, scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse source systems into the Celonis environment.
Celonis Data Modeling:
Develop and apply data cleansing data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity for effective process mining analysis.
Understand and leverage the Celonis data model, including data pools, event logs, and activity tables, to ensure data quality and optimal performance within the platform.
Maintain data models that will be the basis of the analyses and work together closely with the business analysts to generate the customized set of analytics, Celonis Apps, Dashboards, etc.
Process Optimization:
Execute the end-to-end Celonis lifecycle, focusing on setup and ongoing process optimization.
Work closely with process owners, Business Value Architect, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Celonis.
Process Mining Expertise:
Strong understanding of Celonis process mining tools and methodologies.
Experience in data analysis, process modeling, and performance measurement.
Build analyses, execution apps, Dashboard, Action Flows, Benchmarking, Task Mining, etc. to increase process transparency
Hands-on experience of Object Centric Process Mining (OCPM)
Adhere to data governance policies and security standards in all data handling and integration activities.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, processes, and systems to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Investigate and resolve data-related queries and issues
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in data analysis tools
Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing solutions.
Knowledge of process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN).
Familiarity with process mining concepts and methodologies
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python)
Knowledge of data visualization tools(e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
