Manager - Forward Deployed Engineering

Moxo is an AI workflow automation platform that powers complex, multi-step business operations by orchestrating work between humans and AI agents in a single flow.
Its AI agents automate operational tasks such as preparing documents, validating submissions, extracting data, routing work, and tracking overdue items, while people focus on judgment-based decisions like approvals and exceptions.
The Manager Forward Deployed Engineering is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
You’ll lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers who work closely with customers to turn important business processes into successful solutions on Moxo.
This is a hands-on leadership role that sits at the intersection of customers, technology, and business outcomes. You’ll own a portfolio of strategic customer engagements, guide your team through complex implementations, and make sure we’re not simply delivering software—we’re helping customers achieve the outcomes they came to Moxo for.
Along the way, you’ll help your team grow, remove roadblocks, bring structure to complex engagements, and build the practices that make Forward Deployed Engineering at Moxo exceptional.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys bringing together technology, people, and customer outcomes. You’ll be comfortable leading engineers, getting hands-on when needed, and working directly with customers to turn complex problems into solutions that work in the real world.
Lead and grow a strong team. You can guide Forward Deployed Engineers, help them navigate complex customer engagements, and support their development along the way.
Bring strong engineering fundamentals. You’ve designed, built, or maintained production-grade software and understand what it takes to ship reliable systems.
Turn plans into outcomes. You’re comfortable setting priorities, managing moving pieces, and keeping customer-facing projects moving toward a successful launch.
Connect systems together. You have experience working with APIs, third-party platforms, integrations, and enterprise technology environments.
Be comfortable with customers. Experience working directly with customers—particularly in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Professional Services—is a strong plus.
Make complex things simple. You’re a thoughtful problem solver and clear communicator who can understand a business need, work through the technical details, and bring stakeholders along.
Bring a strong technical foundation. A background in computer science, engineering, or a related field is helpful, but we value relevant real-world experience just as much.
Be excited about where software is going. Familiarity with AI-powered products, Applied AI tech, workflow or business process software, and secure enterprise software is a plus.
Willingness to travel and be present with the customer. Moxo has a global customer base. You'd have to possibly travel (sometimes on short notice) to a customer location to ensure their business objective is being met.
Build and train the team. You’ll help Forward Deployed Engineers sharpen their technical, customer-facing, and delivery skills through hands-on coaching, structured training, and lessons learned from real customer engagements.
