Role Description The Architectural Intern will support the founder in developing architectural concepts, drawings, and presentations for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with schematic and detailed design, preparing CAD and 3D models, conducting basic site and materials research, and helping produce documentation for client reviews. The intern will collaborate with the founder, participate in design discussions, and contribute to integrating aesthetic and functional requirements into project solutions. This is a, hybrid internship based in Chennai, requiring active engagement in meetings, and potential site visits.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including drafting, spatial planning, and basic understanding of building systems.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and interact professionally with stakeholders.
Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software, along with basic knowledge of Photoshop or other visualization tools.
Candidates should possess the ability to learn quickly, pay close attention to detail, manage time effectively, and work under guidance to meet project deadlines.
Enrollment in or recent completion of a bachelor’s degree in architecture or a closely related field is preferred.
