Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Junior QA Engineer. In this position, the Junior QA Engineer will execute manual tests, follow test plans, and validate software functionality against defined requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and maintaining test cases, performing regression and exploratory testing, logging and tracking defects, and collaborating with developers and designers to ensure product quality. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes, documenting test results, and supporting release activities to help deliver reliable, user-friendly digital solutions.
Qualifications
Strong foundational skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with an understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Manual Testing and Test Execution across different features and platforms.
Ability to design, document, and maintain clear and structured Test Cases for functional and regression testing.
Basic understanding of defect tracking tools and ability to communicate issues clearly to development teams.
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional team.
Interest in learning automation testing and modern QA tools over time.
Relevant education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
