Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Developer with a strong background in writing complex SQL queries, optimizing SQL performance, and debugging ETL flows. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PLSQL and creating VIEWS, and will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our data management processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the overall success of our data initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries with multijoin operations to support various data analysis needs.
Perform SQL query optimization to enhance performance and efficiency of database operations.
Debug and troubleshoot ETL flows to ensure accurate data processing and integration.
Create and maintain VIEWS to facilitate data access and reporting.
Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to promote best practices in SQL development.
Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications related to SQL development and ETL processes.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to SQL and data management.
Mandatory Skills:
Proficiency in SQL with a strong focus on writing complex queries.
Experience with SQL query optimization techniques.
Hands-on experience in debugging ETL flows.
Strong knowledge of PLSQL and its applications.
Experience in creating and managing VIEWS in SQL databases.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices.
Experience with database management systems such as PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience in SQL development and database management.
Proven track record of successfully delivering SQL projects on time and within scope.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
