About Neocambrian AI
Neocambrian AI collects real-world data for robot learning and builds the hardware behind it. We're expanding that foundation into robotic arms, actuators, automated quality control, and the systems needed to train and operate robots at scale. The next stage spans hardware that acts, models that learn from physical experience, and software that runs across fleets. You'll help build it.
The role
You'll work with the founder to turn new technical directions into programmes the company can execute. A robotic hardware initiative may need suppliers, a budget and a first hire before it has a team. A research programme may need partners, compute and an operating plan. You'll assemble those pieces, resolve the gaps between functions, and carry initiatives until there is a clear owner ready to take them forward.
What you'll own
Launching new initiatives with explicit milestones, budgets, dependencies and accountable owners.
Partnerships, sourcing and operational groundwork for hardware and research programmes.
Company-level visibility into progress, spending and decisions that need the founder's attention.
Fundraising materials and strategic analysis grounded in technical progress and credible plans.
Who you are
Two to five years at an early-stage startup or a consulting firm, with evidence of taking ambiguous projects through to execution.
Write clearly, model competently, and can turn unfamiliar technical details into decisions, plans and follow-through.
Comfortable working with engineers, researchers, suppliers and investors, and pursuing answers across organisational boundaries.
Want real ownership and can hand a programme over cleanly once it has the team and structure to stand on its own.
