About the Role:
We are looking for a strong C++ Software Engineer with experience working with game engines or real-time
interactive systems. The engineer will contribute to gameplay, engine-level systems, feature integration,
debugging, and performance-related engineering.
Professional game-development experience is highly desirable but not mandatory. Strong software engineers with
solid C++ fundamentals and relevant engine experience are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
Strong hands-on programming experience in C++, with solid understanding of object-oriented design,
memory management, data structures, multithreading and debugging.
Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, proprietary game engines, or comparable real-time
interactive frameworks.
Good understanding of game-engine concepts such as:
Game loop and frame updates
Actors/entities and components
Object lifecycle and ownership
Input and event systems
Rendering, physics and collision fundamentals
Asset/resource management
Ability to understand and work effectively with existing codebases
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of software design and engineering practices
Experience with source-control systems such as Git or Perforce
Highly Desired
Professional game-development, co-development, or game-engineering experience
Unreal Engine and Unreal C++ experience
Experience with one or more areas such as gameplay systems, multiplayer/networking, AI, animation, physics, tools or engine systems
Performance profiling and optimization experience
Experience developing or shipping applications on PC, console, or mobile

owning features through implementation and integration.
