Job Description:
We are seeking a Manager of Engineering to lead a cross-functional team responsible for supporting enterprise technology initiatives and business-critical projects. This individual will oversee a team of technical professionals, drive project execution, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure strategic initiatives are delivered successfully.
This role is best suited for a leader who enjoys mentoring teams, improving processes, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately eight professionals, including business analysts, QA specialists, reporting developers, and project/product support staff.
Manage a portfolio of approximately 30 concurrent technology and business initiatives.
Coordinate enterprise system enhancements, software implementations, ERP-related projects, and other strategic technology efforts.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to prioritize work and ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor project timelines, risks, and overall progress while communicating updates to leadership.
Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.
Partner with analytics, reporting, and data-focused teams to support business objectives.
Implement practical project management practices that drive results while maintaining flexibility.
Qualifications:
Previous leadership experience managing technical or engineering teams.
Experience overseeing analysts, QA teams, reporting developers, or other technical professionals.
Strong understanding of enterprise technology projects and system implementations.
Experience working with data, business intelligence, analytics, or technical analysis teams.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting business needs.
Experience with ERP systems, enterprise applications, or large-scale technology initiatives is preferred.
Bachelor's degree and certifications are not required.
