Role Description The Junior Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Junior Interior Designer will support the principal designer in developing concepts, preparing space plans, and assisting with detailed drawings and documentation for ultra-luxury residential projects. Daily responsibilities include coordinating FF&E selections, creating mood boards and presentations, and helping translate design intent into accurate construction drawings. The role involves collaborating with vendors and contractors, participating in site visits, tracking design changes, and ensuring alignment between design, budget, and execution. The Junior Interior Designer will also assist with material research, sample coordination, and maintaining organized project files and digital archives.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with demonstrated ability to translate concepts into functional, emotive spaces.
Proficiency in Space Planning, including circulation, zoning, and furniture layouts for high-end residential interiors.
Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and technical documentation that support clear, buildable design intent.
Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, finishes, and material palettes suitable for luxury projects.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and presentation tools.
Excellent visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to work with light, texture, and scale.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate on-site with contractors, vendors, and clients.
Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and work in a fast-paced, detail-driven studio environment.
