DevOps Lead

Job Summary We are seeking skilled DevOps Leads/Engineers with strong hands-on experience in Jenkins, Groovy, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline automation, DevOps tools, and cloud technologies. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, integrating security and quality checks, automating deployments, and ensuring reliable and scalable application delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, maintain, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines using Groovy, with strong hands-on experience in pipeline scripting and automation.
Manage and administer Kubernetes environments, including application deployment, scaling, troubleshooting, and container orchestration.
Implement end-to-end pipeline execution using tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Artifactory, and automated testing tools.
Integrate code quality, security, vulnerability, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate automated testing frameworks such as Selenium and/or Playwright into CI/CD pipelines.
Automate build, deployment, configuration, and release processes across development, testing, and production environments.
Work with development, QA, security, infrastructure, and application teams to troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues.
Implement DevOps best practices for automation, scalability, reliability, security, and continuous delivery.
Monitor CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes workloads, and application deployments to identify and resolve failures.
Support cloud-based environments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP and implement infrastructure automation where required.
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
8 years of overall IT experience with strong experience in DevOps, CI/CD, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Mandatory strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and Groovy.
Mandatory hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
Strong experience in designing and executing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Checkmarx, SonarQube, and Artifactory.
Experience integrating Selenium and/or Playwright automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, build and release management.
Hands-on experience with Git and source-code management tools, preferably Bitbucket/Git.
Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.
Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
Strong scripting and automation skills using Groovy, Shell/Bash, Python, or similar technologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks is an added advantage but not mandatory.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and integration of SAST, DAST, SCA, vulnerability, and security scanning tools within CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP DevOps services.
Knowledge of Kubernetes deployment tools such as Helm.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Relevant AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, CKA, CKAD, or CKS certifications are an added advantage.
