Role Description
The SDE Intern role at LogAI is a full-time, remote internship for a duration of 4 months. In this role, the intern will support the engineering team in designing, developing, and testing back-end services and APIs that power LogAI's platform. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean code under guidance, debugging issues, participating in code reviews, and contributing to documentation. The intern will work closely with senior engineers to learn best practices in software engineering, collaborative development, and cloud-based deployments, while getting hands-on exposure to a real, production-grade AI-powered platform. Based on performance during the internship, there is potential for conversion into a full-time role, with the work arrangement (remote, hybrid, or in-office) determined at that stage
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts — data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
Working knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar)
Basic understanding of back-end web development — APIs, databases, integrating services
Familiarity with Git and version control
Strong willingness to learn quickly and take initiative
Ability to work effectively and stay self-driven in a remote, fast-paced team environment
Exposure to TypeScript, FastAPI, Playwright, or similar tools is a plus, even without hands-on production experience
