Role Description The SDE - JR role at LogAI is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs that power the Unified Intelligence Platform. The team member will collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to implement features, optimize performance, and ensure reliability and scalability of the system. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, maintainable code, debugging and resolving issues, participating in code reviews, and contributing to documentation and technical improvements. The role also includes learning and applying best practices in software engineering, security, and cloud-based deployments in a fast-paced product environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including building RESTful APIs, FAST API, Postgres, MongoDB, UI UX Design and integrating services.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to design modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to learn quickly, solve problems, and work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment.
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, or AI/automation-focused products is a plus.
