The client is seeking an experienced JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC Consultant to join its projects and managed services team. The role will focus on the delivery and support of JDE installations, upgrades, migrations, platform administration and technical support. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on CNC experience and be comfortable supporting customer environments, project activities and managed service tickets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead CNC activities for JD Edwards Tools Releases, Application Updates and Release Upgrades.
Perform end-to-end JD Edwards installations, upgrades, migrations and environment builds.
Administer and support Enterprise Server, HTML Server, AIS, Orchestrator, Server Manager and BSSV components.
Support project delivery and work closely with functional consultants, developers and customer stakeholders.
Manage incidents, service requests, problem investigations and root cause analysis activities.
Perform system maintenance, including Oracle Database, WebLogic, Java and security patching.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across JD Edwards and its supporting infrastructure.
Support cloud-hosted JD Edwards environments across OCI, Azure or AWS.
Assist with package builds, deployments, environment refreshes, data migrations and SQL activities.
Create and maintain technical documentation, standards and operational procedures.
Mentor less-experienced consultants and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of hands-on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC experience across projects and managed services.
Strong understanding of JD Edwards architecture, installations, upgrades, Tools Releases and package management.
Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, WebLogic, AIS, Orchestrator and BSSV.
Knowledge of Linux, Windows and IBM i (AS/400) platforms.
Experience with OCI, Azure or AWS cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with Oracle One-Click Provisioning (OCP), including automated deployment, cloning, patching and lifecycle management of JD Edwards environments.
Proven ability to work independently on JD Edwards CNC projects with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, documentation and customer-facing skills.
Experience with PowerShell, shell scripting or similar automation tools would be advantageous.
