About the Role
Design-Pods is looking for an experienced DevOps / SRE Specialist to help us build, manage, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable application infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Linux systems, monitoring, deployment automation, and application reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, manage, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
Automate application deployment and infrastructure processes.
Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability.
Implement effective logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues.
Maintain Linux-based servers and environments.
Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployments.
Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and deployment workflows.
Identify infrastructure bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
Support production environments and resolve incidents efficiently.
Required Skills
3–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or a related role.
Strong experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
Hands-on experience with Docker.
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Good knowledge of Linux systems and administration.
Practical experience with Kubernetes.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability.
Experience with logging and alerting systems.
Knowledge of deployment and infrastructure automation.
Understanding of cloud security best practices.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and related services.
Experience with Kubernetes production environments.
Familiarity with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Experience with application performance monitoring and incident management.
Scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
