About the role

Contract Duration: 6 months
Lead the migration strategy, Terraform design standards, state management approach, and production readiness activities.
Oversee resource import and reconciliation into Terraform state.
Resolve complex issues during migration and deployment activities.
Minimize downtime and operational risk during production cutover.
A key risk in this effort is the migration of existing AWS resources into Terraform state. Any resources that are not properly imported, mapped, or validated could result in unintended infrastructure changes, service disruption, or outages. For this reason, client needs a senior Terraform resource with prior experience leading CloudFormation-to-Terraform migrations.
In addition to the lead, we will have 2-3 people working with the lead as

Lead technical execution and solution design for Senior Terraform Architect / Lead
Collaborate with agile teams to build, scale, and maintain high-quality platforms
Optimize performance, security, and developer best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency and experience with AWS
Strong proficiency and experience with Terraform
