Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automation Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Automation Engineer will design, develop, and implement automation solutions for industrial processes, including configuring control systems, PLCs, and related hardware. Daily responsibilities include monitoring system performance, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and optimizing existing automation setups to improve efficiency and reliability. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, preparing technical documentation, and supporting system testing, commissioning, and maintenance. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, safety compliance, and adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Automation and Process Control skills, including experience with PLCs, SCADA, or distributed control systems.
Candidates should possess core Electrical Engineering knowledge, including industrial wiring, control panels, sensors, and actuators.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving system and equipment issues.
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Robotics and robotic integration within automated production lines.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to safety, quality, and detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate on-site with operations and maintenance teams.
Experience with industrial standards, safety regulations, and commissioning procedures is an advantage.
