Location: Henry Ford Detroit
Department: Cardiac Catheterization
Schedule: 36hrs, Rotating Shift
What You Will Do
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by performing Scrub or Monitor functions.
Operate and maintain equipment and supplies in the Cardiovascular Lab (CCL).
Ensure patient safety by recognizing cardiac arrhythmias and responding according to emergency protocols.
Operate external cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators as needed.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography, or equivalent academic program and experience).
Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience, preferably in Cath Lab or Radiology, and/or registry eligible.
Valid BCLS certification required; ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Licensure or Certification in degree field preferred.
