Logistics Section Manager

As Logistics Section Manager, you will lead the end-to-end planning activities of an assigned value stream, ensuring superior customer delivery performance while balancing inventory, capacity, and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for managing and developing teams covering Demand Planning, Production Planning, and Material Planning. Acting as a key business partner across Sales, Production, Purchasing, Engineering, and Logistics, you will transform customer demand into reliable and executable supply chain plans.
The role requires a strong end-to-end supply chain mindset, combining strategic planning, operational excellence, people leadership, and continuous improvement. This is in line with Bosch Logistics’ integrated planning approach, where demand, material, and production planning are managed as one connected process chain.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Demand, Production, or Material Planning.
Proven manufacturing experience and team leadership.
Strong track record of operational improvement and business results.
Skills
Strong knowledge of Demand, Production, and Material Planning, Inventory Management, MRP, Capacity Planning, and S&OP / Integrated Business Planning.
Advanced SAP knowledge; Power BI and data analytics experience is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills.
Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
Ability to manage pressure, ambiguity, and complex stakeholders.
Fluent English; German is an advantage.
