Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and focuses on Microsoft Windows administration, Active Directory administration, and VMware administration within enterprise environments. Daily responsibilities include managing and monitoring Windows servers, administering Active Directory (user accounts, groups, policies, and security), and maintaining VMware-based virtual infrastructure. The role involves handling technical support requests, diagnosing and resolving system and network issues, performing regular patching and updates, and ensuring system stability and security. The administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document configurations and procedures, participate in incident and problem management, and support change management activities in line with organizational policies.
Qualifications
Strong Windows Administration and Server Administration skills for configuring, maintaining, and securing Windows server environments.
Solid System Administration and Troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose performance issues and implement reliable solutions.
Hands-on Technical Support experience in resolving user and infrastructure-related incidents in enterprise settings.
Proficiency in Active Directory administration, including user and group management, OU structure, GPOs, and access controls.
Experience with VMware or similar virtualization platforms for deploying, managing, and optimizing virtual machines and hosts.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and basic security practices (firewalls, antivirus, access control).
Ability to work effectively in on-site, collaborative teams, with clear communication and documentation skills.
Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; professional certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, VMware (VCP), or ITIL are an advantage.
Willingness to participate in shift-based support or on-call rotations as required for business continuity.
