Site Civil Engineer

Role Description The Site Civil Engineer will work full time on-site in Deosar, overseeing civil works and ensuring that construction activities align with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising site execution, coordinating with contractors and site teams, reviewing drawings and technical documents, and ensuring quality control for foundations, structures, and utilities. The role involves monitoring progress, preparing daily/weekly reports, supporting material inspections, and resolving technical issues at the site in consultation with senior engineers. The Site Civil Engineer will liaise with planning and project management teams to optimize resources, sequence activities, and maintain adherence to cost and schedule parameters. This position requires active participation in safety initiatives and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design for structural, infrastructure, and site development works.
Candidates should possess experience as Civil Engineers in supervising on-site activities, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
Candidates should possess Planning skills for scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring progress against project milestones.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related hydraulic considerations for site works.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field from an accredited institution.
Familiarity with construction codes, standards, and quality control practices, along with basic proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively at site and adapt to changing project needs.
Prior experience on infrastructure or industrial projects and understanding of safety and environmental regulations is beneficial.
