Private Credit Research Analyst

Our esteemed client is currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced members to join their Private Markets team, specializing in financial modeling and portfolio monitoring of private companies. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in portfolio monitoring & surveillance and providing valuable insights. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in credit financial modeling, with a strong preference for candidates holding a CFA designation or currently pursuing the CFA program.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage data ingestion of financial, operational, and KPI data from portfolio companies
Support onboarding of new deals/portfolio companies, including entity setup, KPI configuration, historical data migration, mapping, validation, and reconciliation
Financial reporting on portfolio companies on an ongoing basis
Research support on an adhoc basis in supporting investment team needs in securing new business.
Development of standardised info pack for each investment in the portfolio. Monthly management reporting and variance analysis
News and information search support for existing and potential investments
Requirements:
Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Private Credit or Private Equity
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and data analysis.
Demonstrated expertise in assessing credit risk, financial statement analysis, and interpreting complex financial data.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Candidates with a CFA designation or those actively pursuing the CFA program will be given preference.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Bloomberg, and other relevant financial analysis tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex financial information effectively.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
