Quality Engineer II
Responsibilities
Work closely with the product management and development teams and proactively build in quality across SDLC stages.
Certify the functional and non-functional aspects using the QA best standards to deliver top quality products.
Implement automation for API, Functional or UI features of the product by using the Java, Python & PlayWright based automation frameworks.
Use AI / Generative AI to implement solutions for testing.
Experience and Skills
3-6 years of total experience in testing enterprise software/product with 2+ years of experience in test automation for APIs, Integrations, and UI.
Good exposure to AI (AI, Generative AI, prompt engineering, context design, models, evaluation, etc.).
Proven experience with automating testing for REST or SOAP APIs and Integrations using necessary tools like RestAssured, Postman, Swagger, Katalon, JMeter, etc.
Hands on experience with programming/scripting languages (Java, Python). Development or white box testing experience will be preferred.
Working knowledge of web services, web applications, and related areas of non-functional testing like Performance, Scalability, etc.
Hands-on with Github source control, Test Mgmt tools and JIRA, Confluence, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both product and technical teams.
