Junior Software Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer with experience in OutSystems to join our client's development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to deepen their expertise in low-code development while contributing to impactful projects across multiple industries. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing, developing, and deploying applications using OutSystems.
Collaborate with team members to translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Configure integrations with external systems and APIs.
Participate in testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.
Document technical specifications, configurations, and deployment processes.
Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications.
Requirements
Essential:
6+ months of hands-on experience with the OutSystems platform.
Basic knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Desirable:
OutSystems Reactive Developer certification.
Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
