Pattern Maker

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pattern Maker role based in Ahmedabad. The Pattern Maker will translate design concepts into accurate patterns, create pattern blocks, and adjust patterns for different sizes and fits. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with designers, conducting fittings, making pattern corrections, and ensuring garment construction aligns with design intent and comfort requirements. The role involves drafting and modifying patterns by hand and using CAD tools, preparing technical specifications, and coordinating with sampling and production teams to ensure quality and consistency. The Pattern Maker will also help optimize material usage and maintain pattern libraries for future collections.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Pattern Making and Pattern Design skills for corsets, high end dresses and quality apparel
Candidates should possess hands-on skills in Sewing and garment construction to translate patterns into functional samples.
Candidates should possess experience in Fitting and fit adjustments, with an eye for comfort, support, and inclusivity across sizes.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools used for pattern drafting and grading.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Apparel Technology, or a related field.
Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple styles and timelines.
Attention to detail, strong measurement skills, and familiarity with fabric behavior, especially for stretch and structured materials.
Experience in high fashion or women’s wear and an interest in inclusive, sustainable fashion is highly beneficial.
