Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Recruiter working in a target-based consultancy environment. The Junior Recruiter will source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, and screen profiles to match client requirements. Daily responsibilities include conducting initial interviews, coordinating interviews between candidates and clients, maintaining candidate pipelines, and updating applicant tracking or CRM systems. The individual will support senior recruiters with job postings, candidate follow-ups, and status reporting, as well as contribute to meeting placement and revenue targets. The role also involves building strong professional relationships with candidates and clients, handling basic offer negotiations under guidance, and ensuring timely, accurate communication throughout the hiring process.
Qualifications
Strong candidate sourcing and screening skills, including experience using job portals, social media platforms, and professional networks.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct structured interviews and build rapport with candidates and clients.
Basic understanding of recruitment processes, target-based roles, and consultancy work, with a focus on meeting placement and performance goals.
Good organizational and time-management abilities, including maintaining candidate pipelines, tracking activities, and working with recruitment or CRM tools.
Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision, demonstrating reliability, accountability, and proactive follow-up.
Proficiency in standard office and communication tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, video conferencing); familiarity with applicant tracking systems is an advantage.
Ability to learn quickly, receive feedback constructively, and adapt to changing client requirements and market conditions.
Prior internship or experience in recruitment, HR, or sales is preferred but not mandatory; a relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree is beneficial.
