Founding Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a founding-level product engineering role at an AI-native B2B SaaS company building the intelligence layer for strategic procurement. You will work across the full stack, owning features end to end, from UX through backend logic to prompt design, with direct impact on the experience of enterprise customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prototype, iterate, and ship LLM-powered features rapidly in close collaboration with real users.
- Design and build sophisticated AI agent pipelines while making their complexity invisible to end users.
- Translate customer feedback and usage signals into polished product experiences that land.
- Work across frontend, backend services, and prompt workflows, wherever the problem takes you.
- Own features from initial concept through production deployment and ongoing iteration.
- Use AI coding tools pragmatically to accelerate development while maintaining production-grade architecture.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong full-stack TypeScript skills with the ability to work across UI, backend services, and LLM integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to prompt, tune, and integrate LLMs into compelling user experiences, shown through shipped products, side projects, or hackathon work.
- Clear evidence of exceptional ability or strong trajectory: notable shipped products, rapid career progression, impressive open-source contributions, or hackathon wins.
- High agency and entrepreneurial drive, with experience shipping product in a startup or fast-moving environment.
- Strong product instincts and a genuine drive to put things in front of users and watch them perform.
- Ability to reason about system and architectural implications, not just implementation details.
- Python experience alongside TypeScript is a plus.
- Reliable, honest, and responsive, with consistent follow-through on commitments.
- Open to all experience levels; mindset, curiosity, and track record matter most.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range: 90,000 to 140,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
LOCATION
Based in Berlin, Germany. This is a hybrid role; candidates must be Berlin-based and willing to work in person with the team regularly.
