modeverdi is looking for a hungry, driven, and ambitious Luxury Personal Stylist to join our fast-growing, female-owned startup.
We are a personal styling service for luxury preowned fashion, spanning current-season pieces, archival runway items, and rare vintage finds.
We believe every woman deserves a dedicated expert who understands her lifestyle, taste, and body shape inside out, using that expertise to curate a wardrobe that makes her look and feel her absolute best. We are building a high-energy A-Team ready to disrupt the luxury fashion tech ecosystem.
💼 The Role
As a Personal Stylist at modeverdi, you won't just be selecting clothes—you will be a fashion detective. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients by digging deep into their profiles, decoding their lifestyles, and anticipating their desires to deliver styling selections that surprise and delight.
Location: Remote (Work from anywhere; London-based is a preferred bonus, but not required)
Salary: £28,000 per annum full-time, or £18/hour part-time + performance-based bonuses. Bonuses can be really good as performance is key.
Employment Type: Full-time or part-time.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Client Profile Evaluation: Deep-dive into client style questionnaires, measurements, and preferences to build hyper-personalised virtual wardrobes.
Luxury Wardrobe Curation: Source and pair current, archival, and vintage preowned luxury pieces into high-fashion outfits that maximise style points, from our retail partners.
Technical Fitting Analysis: Translate precise body measurements across different garment cuts (e.g., matching a client's specific proportions to the exact ease required for a sharp pencil skirt vs. fluid wide-leg trousers vs. a structured evening dress).
Great Judgement: understand what matters most to the client and know how to make sure they love everything you pick for them.
🔑 What We Are Looking For
👁️ An Incredible Eye for Detail & Style Nuance
You must understand the explicit DNA of distinct fashion aesthetics. You know how a Boho style preference differs from a classic Feminine look, and how both differ from a Creative, avant-garde aesthetic.
🏷️ Deep Knowledge of Luxury Brands
You understand luxury fashion positioning fluently. You instinctively know why Alessandra Rich is a preppy dream and why Chloé is a boho chick’s ultimate best friend.
📐 Expert Understanding of Body Shapes & Fabrics
You know the human anatomy inside out when it comes to tailoring. You can confidently identify the right cuts to flatter different shapes, know exactly what silhouettes to avoid, and understand how fabric composition affects fit—including fabric ease, drape, and elasticity.
🧠 Startup Mindset & Perceptiveness
You are highly intuitive, perceptive, and hungry to succeed. You thrive in the fast-paced, fluid environment of an early-stage startup and bring relentless energy to the team every day.
✨ Nice-to-Haves
Super articulate and confident conducting client consultations via Zoom.
Comfortable appearing on camera to create engaging styling content for Modeverdi’s social media channels.
