Lubana Exim Private Limited is an export house specialising in high-end, intricately crafted garments, including heavily beaded and embellished apparel. We are looking for a Storekeeper to manage our in-factory fabric and trims store and ensure accurate, timely and organised movement of materials.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the fabric and trims store.
Receive, check, identify and properly store incoming fabrics, trims and accessories.
Maintain accurate records of all materials received, issued, returned and transferred.
Ensure materials are properly labelled, categorised and stored for easy identification and retrieval.
Issue fabrics and trims to sampling and production against authorised requirements.
Maintain accurate style-wise and material-wise inventory.
Track material consumption, balance quantities and shortages.
Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Production, Sampling and Dyeing teams regarding material requirements.
Ensure dyed/processed materials are correctly received, identified and stored.
Maintain proper records of materials sent outside the factory for dyeing, processing or other work.
Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile physical inventory with records.
Identify discrepancies, shortages, excesses or damaged materials and report them immediately.
Ensure proper handling and storage of delicate, expensive and embellished materials.
Maintain an organised and efficient store environment.
Support production by ensuring required materials are available and issued on time.
Candidate Profile
Previous experience managing a fabric, trims or garment accessories store is preferred.
Experience in a garment export house or manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
Strong inventory management and record-keeping skills.
Good understanding of fabrics, trims and garment accessories.
Excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable handling multiple material requirements simultaneously.
Must be organised, proactive and quick to respond to urgent production requirements.
Strong coordination skills.
Basic to good knowledge of Excel and inventory management systems.
Ability to maintain accurate records even in a fast-moving production environment.
What We Are Looking For
Someone who treats inventory accuracy as critical to production. The store should always be able to answer what material we have, where it is, how much is available, what it is allocated to and what needs to be replenished.
