2. About the Opportunity:
The Lead Field Service Electronics Technician role is focused on providing on-site support including emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance of power systems. This position is vital in maintaining the reliability and performance of critical power infrastructure for customers. The role involves direct customer interaction and technical troubleshooting, contributing to operational continuity and customer satisfaction.
3. Responsibilities:
Perform emergency repairs and maintenance on UPS systems, batteries, and related equipment.
Conduct start-up services and preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability.
Travel daily to customer sites, including occasional overnight stays.
Use provided company vehicle and tools to execute service tasks.
Participate in safety audits and compliance programs.
Collaborate with other field service technicians and follow safety protocols.
4. Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum two years of experience with power systems, battery technologies, or electronics.
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 50+ lbs., climbing, and prolonged standing.
Willingness to travel extensively within the USA.
Pass customer entrance requirements including background checks and drug screenings.
Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics, military training, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, battery systems, and circuit troubleshooting.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The expected annual salary range for this role is $69,000 to $101,000.
Overtime eligible.
Salaries depend on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications.
