Contract Multimedia Designer

Knightlabs is an innovative solution provider helping health brands bring life-changing science to the audience who needs it most. As we continue to redefine the intersection of technology and healthcare communications, we are looking for a Contract Multimedia Designer to support our growing creative team.
The Role
As a Contract Multimedia Designer, you will be instrumental in bringing our scientific storytelling to life visually. You will support our creative execution by developing dynamic digital assets, motion graphics, and interactive content that resonate with healthcare professionals and patients alike. This role requires a versatile designer who can seamlessly pivot between web banner creation, video storyboarding, and cross-channel content adaptation.
What You’ll Do
Omnichannel Design: Design and produce digital assets across social, email, web, presentations, and other omnichannel tactics.
Motion & Video: Create motion graphics, animation, and video content using After Effects.
Storyboarding: Develop visual storyboards and design frames for video and motion projects.
Digital Banners: Build and adapt digital banner creative, including HTML5 assets where required.
Scientific Translation: Take approved scientific and medical content and translate it into engaging visual executions.
Asset Adaptation: Resize, version, and adapt creative across different channels, formats, and specifications.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the creative director, writers, account, and strategy teams to bring concepts to life.
Brand & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure design work follows brand guidelines and is prepared accurately for client and regulatory review.
What You’ll Bring
Experience: 2+ years of experience as a designer in multimedia composition, production, and design, or an educational equivalent.
Technical Proficiency: Highly knowledgeable in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Animate, and Adobe After Effects.
Industry Bonus: Experience working in the advertising and marketing industry is a plus, as is experience with medical or scientific design or animation.
Proof of Concept: A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing your multimedia and design capabilities is required.
Contract Details
Commitment: 40 hours per week.
Duration: One-month contract to start, with the possibility to extend for additional months.
Logistics: Fully remote. Must be available to work and collaborate during normal CT and/or ET business hours.
