Role Description The Solar Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur. This role involves assessing client energy needs, conducting site visits, and evaluating locations for solar installations. The Solar Specialist will design and configure solar systems, support installation teams, and ensure that projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing technical proposals, explaining solar solutions to customers, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and monitoring system performance after installation. The position also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and supporting continuous improvement of solar offerings.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Solar Power and Solar Systems, including design, configuration, and performance evaluation.
Understanding of the Solar Industry, with awareness of current technologies, regulations, and market trends.
Familiarity with broader Power Generation concepts, including complementary sources such as Wind Energy.
Relevant technical background, such as a diploma or degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and electrical layouts.
Effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts to customers and colleagues.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in project planning and execution.
Willingness to work on-site, conduct field visits, and collaborate with installation and operations teams.
