About the Role
The SEO, AEO & GEO Specialist is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing search strategies across traditional SEO, along with AEO and GEO to increase organic visibility and qualified traffic. Daily activities include conducting keyword research, performing technical and content-focused SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, and managing link-building initiatives.
The specialist will monitor performance using web analytics tools, prepare regular reporting, and collaborate with content, design and development teams to implement best practices. The role also involves staying current with search engine algorithm updates and AI-driven search trends to ensure Ampcus Cyber’s digital presence remains competitive.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct in-depth keyword research and search-intent analysis for B2B compliance/cybersecurity topics
• Own on-page SEO optimization end-to-end; site audits, meta tags, internal linking, etc.
• Analyze and execute technical SEO fixes with the developer; page speed and Core Web Vitals, structured data implementation, etc.
• Strategize and execute AEO; FAQ/schema, direct-answer content formats, featured-snippet targeting, etc.
• Strategize and execute GEO; brand authority building, third-party mentions, and citation signals so AI tools reference and recommend Ampcus Cyber
• Execute off-page SEO; backlink outreach strategy, generating backlinks from high-DA domains, etc.
• Monitor and analyze rankings, organic traffic, and channel performance, turning data into clear, actionable recommendations
• Strategize content development and optimization for B2B buyers’ journey
• Collaborate with content writers, designers, and developers to implement SEO recommendations
• Analysis and report on progress against monthly KPI targets, flagging risks and recommending course corrections
Requirements
• 2-4 years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 1-2 years in a B2B environment
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Solid grounding in on-page, technical, and off-page SEO fundamentals,
• Hands-on experience with AEO and GEO
• Experience with international/multi-region SEO
• Working knowledge of Google tracking suite; GA4, Google Search Console, Tag Manager, and at least one SEO platform (Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar)
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable pulling and interpreting traffic/ranking data independently and turning it into recommendations
