About the Internship
We are looking for detail-oriented Data Annotator Interns to join our growing contributor network and work on AI/data-related projects.
Depending on project requirements, your work may include:
• Image, text, audio or video annotation
• Data classification and labeling
• AI/LLM response evaluation
• Data verification and quality checking
• Transcription and language-related tasks
• Web research and structured data collection
• Following detailed project guidelines and maintaining consistent quality
What we're looking for
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good written communication
• Comfortable working with web-based tools
• Reliable internet connection
• Willingness to learn new tools and workflows
• Previous experience in annotation, transcription, research or AI evaluation is a plus

Internship Structure & Compensation
Month 1 — Unpaid Training & Evaluation
The first month will be an unpaid training and evaluation period. During this period, interns will learn our workflows and tools and may participate in training/evaluation tasks.
Month 2 onwards — Paid Internship
Interns who successfully complete the evaluation period and continue with Unstaff will move to a paid internship. The stipend and project terms will be communicated before the paid period begins.
Continuation and project allocation depend on performance, project availability and mutual fit.
Work mode: Remote
Location: India
Engagement: Internship / project-based
Duration: Initially 3-6 months (1st month unpaid)
