Role Description This is a remote, contract Creative Project Manager role focused on overseeing podcast-related initiatives for Venture Capital and B2B tech clients. The Creative Project Manager will coordinate end-to-end podcast production, including timelines, deliverables, stakeholder communication, and vendor management. Daily responsibilities include translating client goals into actionable creative briefs, aligning internal and external teams, tracking progress against milestones, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role also involves collaborating on creative strategy, solving production challenges, refining processes, and maintaining clear documentation and reporting. The Creative Project Manager will work closely with clients to gather requirements, provide status updates, and recommend improvements that enhance podcast performance and listener engagement.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, including timeline planning, resource coordination, and workflow optimization.
Candidates should possess Budgeting capabilities, including tracking costs, managing vendor invoices, and ensuring projects stay within financial parameters.
Candidates should possess Creative Problem Solving abilities to address production issues, streamline processes, and adapt to changing client needs.
Candidates should possess Creative Strategy skills to help shape podcast concepts, episode formats, and content approaches aligned with client goals.
Experience managing creative or media projects (podcasting, content production, audio/video, or marketing campaigns) is highly beneficial.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working independently in a remote environment are important.
Familiarity with podcast production workflows, digital marketing, or B2B tech or VC environments is a plus.
A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in project management, media production, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
