Microsoft Dynamics Consultant

The D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) Consultant designs and implements Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solutions. They collaborate with stakeholders to configure modules, optimize processes, and ensure system integration. The consultant delivers value by enhancing operational efficiency and driving digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and customize D365 F&O modules to meet business requirements.
Analyze business processes and recommend system enhancements.
Lead end-to-end implementation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and configuration guides.
Conduct user training and support to ensure adoption.
Perform system testing, issue resolution, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with integration partners to connect D365 F&O with external systems.
Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
Required Skills and Experience
Deep experience with D365 F&O reporting, including native reporting options, SSRS, and Power BI.
Strong business analysis/functional capabilities: requirements gathering, documentation, and technical specs.
Ability to determine when to use out-of-the-box reports vs. custom/reporting workstreams; experience with backlog management.
Functional or technical proficiency in Power BI reporting and SRSS.
Comfortable presenting findings and training to non-technical audiences.
Preferred skills
Experience with data integration concepts around Azure Data Lake or data hubs.
Familiarity with JD Edwards to Dynamics reporting bridging (contextual understanding).
On-site presentation or training delivery experience.
